Terry Scarborough

Dr. Terry Scarborough is a board-certified bariatric surgeon at Texas Laparoscopic Consultants in Houston. Dr. Scarborough has specialized training in weight loss procedures and extensive experience in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques. He performs a range of bariatric surgeries, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, and gastric banding. He and his team also offer non-surgical weight loss procedures such as gastric balloon, Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG), and medically supervised weight loss programs. Dr. Scarborough also offers minimally invasive treatment for acid reflux, GERD, and chronic heartburn. Dr. Scarborough received his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from the University of New Mexico, with honors. He completed his surgical residency and a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery at Baylor University. He is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Southwestern Surgical Society.
