She serves as the chair of the Public Education Committee for ASMBS focusing on educating the public about obesity and treatment options, including bariatric surgery. She has been elected by her peers as President of the Cleveland Surgical Society for the 2024-2025 year and plans to unite surgeons in the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio region to better serve the local community and patients.
