Lisa Hale, MSN, RN, CNOR, CPHQ, currently serves as the Program Manager for the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). Since joining the ACS in 2011, she has played a pivotal role in supporting both the bariatric surgery program and the adult National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP). In 2019, she advanced to a senior position and took on the leadership of the bariatric clinical support team.Before her tenure at ACS, Lisa’s career encompassed various nursing roles, including working in the operating room as a circulating and scrub nurse, and as a charge nurse. She also contributed her expertise as a practical nursing instructor. Lisa earned her BSN in December 2000 and her MSN with a focus on nursing education in 2011, both from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. Additionally, she holds specialty certifications as an operating room nurse (CNOR) and in healthcare quality (CPHQ).
