Prior to joining Cheyenne Regional as the Director of Bariatric Surgery, he was the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the State University of New York in Brooklyn and the Director of Bariatric Surgery at the University of Illinois in Rockford.

He completed his Bariatric Surgery Fellowship in 2009 at Highland Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center.
