Dr. Colleen Kennedy is a minimally invasive and bariatric surgeon in private practice in Dallas, Texas. She has been in active clinical practice for over 20 years since completing her general surgery residency at the MEdical College of Virginia and Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgical Fellowship at Cleveland CLinic Florida. Dr. Kennedy had the honor of serving her country as a physician in the USAF Virginia Air National Guard and was honorably discharged in 2004. Dr. Kennedy further advanced her education with an MBA from George Washington University to enhance her knowledge in running a practice and advocating for bariatric and metobolic surgical patients. She has dedicated her carreer to serving the needs of individuals with the disease of obesity. Dr Kennedy is currently the Medical Director for two busy bariatric programs in the DFW area as well as an advocate for her patients as a member of the Executive council for the Texas Association for Bariatric surgery as well as the Executive Council for the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
