Amy Laktash

Amy Laktash has been in healthcare for 14 years and a nurse practitioner for 6 years. Her experience in weight management includes specializing in bariatric surgery, as well as MBS Clinical Coordinator leading the patient safety and quality improvement program for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients under MBSAQIP. Amy has recently joined Intellihealth and Flyte Medical services, a telemedicine practice utilizing technology clinical expertise to provide obesity treatment and democratize access to care. She currently serves as an executive officer and Integrated Health Chair for the Ohio/Kentucky state chapter of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Miami University and Master in Nursing from The University of Akron. She is certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She lives in Northeast Ohio with her husband Mike, son Milo, and twins Margot and Louie.
