Dr. Neichoy was born in Beaumont, TX and spent his childhood on the Texas coast in the small town of High Island. After earning his bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University in 2003, he moved to Houston to begin medical school at the University of Texas. Following graduation from medical school in 2007, Dr. Neichoy moved to Gainesville, Florida where he began his general surgery training. The University of Florida provided Dr. Neichoy with extensive training in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques including all components of weight loss surgery. After completing his surgical residency in Florida, Dr. Neichoy and his wife moved back to Texas to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Neichoy is a board certified general surgeon and a member of the American College of Surgeons. He is currently a delegate for the Texas Medical Association. His enthusiasm for medicine and helping patients achieve a healthy lifestyle is a part of his every day practice.
