Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Babineau earned his Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and MD from The University of Rochester. He completed a residency in General Surgery at The Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY in 2001. After residency, he got back to his Texas roots on his mother’s side, and came to East Texas with his wife and 5 children. “I enjoy the unique challenges and rewards of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery.
