Dr. Anthony Tabatabai is a Lincoln, Nebraska native and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is Board Certified in General Surgery and thrilled to serve a community which offered him excellent opportunities to pursue his career goals. He enjoys minimally invasive techniques involving laparoscopic and robotic surgical approaches with areas of interest including bariatrics, foregut, hernias, and all aspects of general surgery.
Dr. Tabatabai earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri, completed General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University-Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and a Fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgery at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoys spending time with his wife Angie, family, friends, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cornhuskers.
