Rana began her career on the support services side of healthcare with Hannibal Regional Healthcare System in August of 2002. In April of 2016, just 3 months into her own weight loss journey, she left HRHS to embark on an adventure – and joined an accredited bariatric surgery program in Columbia, MO as Coordinator – Data, Metabolic & Bariatric Surgical Clinical Reviewer. In this role, Rana found a true passion – a position that called upon her professional interests in healthcare documentation with data analytics and reporting, while at the same time providing personal motivation and gratification. Rana understands first-hand the challenges individuals face as they embark on a journey to better health and she prides herself on making the patient experience unforgettable.
Rana holds an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Human Services, is a Registered Health Information Technician, a Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist, and is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance.
