Lillian Craggs-Dino

Dr. Lillian Craggs-Dino is a nationally and internationally known Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with more than 20 years professional experience in bariatric nutrition. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. She is the Advanced Practitioner Level II Bariatric Dietitian and Support Group Coordinator for Cleveland Clinic Florida where she has had much success assisting patients with their nutritional and weight loss goals. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine Nutrition Program and Allopathic Medical School. She currently serves on the Executive Council for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Integrated Health (ASMBS-IH) in a re-elected position of Member-at Large, and she is the past Co-Chair of the ASMBS-IH Florida, Puerto Rico, and Caribbean Chapter. In addition, she is serving as the Chair for the Integrated Health Clinical Issues Committee (IHCIC) of ASMBS, and she is a working member of the Integrated Health Support Group Committee. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) where she serves as the Nominating Committee Director with the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group (DPG). She was also a committee member of the Evidence Analysis Library (EAL) for Bariatric Surgery. She is a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) and immerses herself in the field of weight management, wellness, and nutrition-related disease prevention and treatment. In her “spare” time, she is the Associate Editor for the journal Surgery for Obesity and Related Diseases (SOARD), and a peer reviewer for journals such as Obesity Surgery, JPEN, Bariatric Times, and Today’s Dietitian. She is a national and international speaker and has authored and co-authored articles and book chapters on the nutrition management for patients with bariatric surgery and obesity management. She is the 2021 recipient of the prestigious ASMBS Foundation’s LEAD Award in Excellence in Nutrition. Dr. Lillian is considered a forward thinker in her specialty, and she truly enjoys what she does and totally immerses herself in the field of obesity prevention and treatment.
